A third rate company will usually stay that way

Except in the minds of some fanboys, it's no secret anymore that Notion Ink is a third rate me-too also-ran company. It's such a shame, even if they lost the battle in this hyper-competitive market but they could have gone out with a great name, dignity and prospects.

Instead, they made themselves a great name as a lousy company that gave horrendous customer service, poor software, loads of empty verbal nonsense, absolutely incompetent management. Only someone who is interested in parting with his money would invest in this management - whether in this company or the next.

Which brings us to another aspect - why it's important for founders to listen to critics and not just to their most ardent fanboys - and Notion Ink attracted some of the worst kind, the kind that mistakes poor quality to a million other excuses. That post is next.

  1. Well said! Looks like theres still a handful of ardent fanboys that have stuck through it all. I hope they get rewarded with some more infographics.
