The slow unraveling has begun

I guess I need a bit of time for a longer post. But all you need to do is visit the forums in Notion Ink and in TabletRoms to see how the ICS / Adam 2 are beginning to unravel.

I told you so. There are still some ostriches with their head in the sand calling Adam a "unfinished diamond" and rubbish like that, but that crowd is dwindling, and fast.

  1. It doesn't help that the market leader just released an amazing product update. The screen on the new iPad might not be viewable in bright, direct sunlight, but it's visible in shade and is totally crisp -- every but as crisp as eInk.

At this point, Apple has a real winner, especially with the battery performance for LTE.

It's telling that all but the biggest fans are moving on. Even the devs are washing their hands of it.

I continue to be surprised that the company is still in business despite raising so little capital, but then I guess cost of living is less in India.

  2. Someone is either dumb enough to invest in Adam 2 and is asking them to keep their mouth shut during development, or they've pretty much gone underground with just a couple of people. Don't need a lot of money to survive that way.

Yes, I forgot about LTE - haven't tried it yet on my new iPad yet. But screen - it's just beautiful.
